It is a labor of love by Walloon descendants passionate about preserving the Walloon language as it was spoken by our ancestors. This is an ongoing project to share stories, history and teaching tools to keep the language alive for future generations.

WisconsinWalloon.org is funded by grants & donations to the Belgian Heritage designated to support Walloon preservation. The Belgian Heritage Center is owned and operated by the Namur Belgian Heritage Foundation, a 501(c)3 organization. Donations of $1,000 or more will be recognized as a Major Supporter on this website.
